Dr Alexander Lee is a Chartered Geologist, European Geologist, and Chartered Scientist with over 25 years of experience. He has been appointed as a technical expert on more than 30 occasions. Alexander is the current Chair of the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists (AGS). He has previously chaired the Society of Brownfield Risk Assessors (SoBRA) and the UK National Brownfield Forum (NBF). He contributes to various Steering Groups and knowledge initiatives. Alexander specialises in contaminated land investigation and liability assessment, risk assessments ranging from human health and vapours to water environment, and soil and groundwater remediation. He has provided opinions on claims for environmental damage and professional negligence; environmental appeals and inquiries; enforcement and prosecutions; permitting and consent issues. He has directed both geotechnical and geoenvironmental consulting teams.
